Heads welcome meeting with Education Minister

Heads from: Hatfield Crookesbroom, Carol Herring; Hatfield Sheep Dip Lane School, Carol Richardson; Dunsville Primary, Kevin Flint; and Hatfield Manor CE School, Ann Anderson were represented at a lively meeting organised by MP Caroline Flint with Education Minister David Miliband.

Said Caroline Flint: "The Heads enjoyed the opportunity to tell David Miliband what the Government is getting right and what more needs to be done. That's exactly what I need to hear to lobby best for schools in Hatfield ward and it all helps Ministers prepare for the next phase of school improvement."

The meeting was hosted by Chris Coady, Head of Hatfield Visual Arts College.
