The preferred starting point for the Link Road is from Junction 3 of the M18 (the junction leading to B&Q and the Yorkshire Outlet).

Shown below are three possible routes from Junction 3 and one from Junction 4.

Option 2 (which is coloured red/green) takes the shorter routes to the airport, along the North of Rossington.

Options 3 and 4 are slightly different courses for a "Southern Relief Road" passing to the South of Rossington.

Option 1 is a route from Junction 4 coming into the airport from the North.

Options 2-4 all are estimated to cost £31m - £52m depending on how quickly the road is built.
