MP meets 100th school to visit
Robin Hood Airport

3 July 2008

Don Valley MP Caroline Flint met pupils involved in the 100th school visit to the National Aviation Academy and Robin Hood Airport this week.

The tour conducted by Directions Finningley finished with pupils from Hayfield Lane Primary visiting the B727 aircraft in Hangar 3, where they demonstrated the pre-flight safety routine for the Don Valley MP.

Ms Flint said: "The pupils' enthusiasm for this airport was extraordinary. I would be surprised if I don't find a few of them working at this airport in ten years time. That is the exciting thing about this airport - it offers new jobs and opportunities for the next generation."
